WACO - Four TSTC students have been arrested after a 16-year-old female runaway was found hiding in their on-campus apartment.

20-year-old Trey Allen Crosley, 19-year-old Tevin Devonta Hastings, 20-year-old Maximon Ortiz Jr. and 18-year-old Mark Daniel Vargas Jr. were all charged with harboring a runaway with bond set at $2,000 each. All the students except for Ortiz have bonded out.

TSTC police followed up a lead to the girl in the runaway report to the Village Oaks Apartments on the TSTC campus. The girl had been missing from her Whitney area home for about two weeks.

Police were told the girl might be living at the apartment. When the four men were asked if the girl was with them, they told officers she was not. However when authorities completed a subsequent search of the apartment, they found the girl.

All four students were arrested and taken to the McLennan County Jail and the girl was taken to the Bill Logue Juvenile Justice Center.
