Michigan Man In Bell County Jail For Sexual Assault

KILLEEN - A Michigan man has been arrested and is facing charges of sexually assaulting two young girls.

An investigation against 56-year-old Lewis Carl Dougherty began following an outcry from one of the two victims. The assaults occurred earlier this year at a home in the southwest part of Killeen.

The arrest was made by authorities in a small Michigan town named Wyoming. Dougherty will be transported back to Killeen and will reside in Bell County Jail.
