WACO - DPS troopers arrested Mahmoud Hamza Ahmad for the possession and distribution of synthetic marijuana. Troopers were assisted by Waco Police officers when they arrested Ahmad at around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the convenience store he works at.
Authorities said the arrest came after an investigation revealed the 26-year-old was in possession of synthetic marijuana. He's been charged with two counts of manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance.
Ahmad is currently in the McLennan County Jail on a $40,000 bond.
