MCGREGOR- A fire on Saturday afternoon destroyed a home and left a McGregor family of eight looking for a place to live.
A mother of six children said an electrical fire broke out in the attic of the house she rents in the 700 block of Talbot Circle around 2:00 p.m., and the fire quickly spread throughout the house.
Speegleville Fire Department doused the flames for hours assisted by at least three other fire departments.
The flames destroyed the entire house, but no one was injured.
