WACO- An argument between neighbors ended in gunfire and sent one man to the hospital on Friday night, according to Waco Police.
Victor Manuel Alvarado, 52, and David Martinez, 30, were arguing around 9:45 p.m. in the 700 block of Proctor Ave., when Alvarado pulled out a gun and shot Martinez in the lower leg, Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton said.
Officers arrested Alvarado at the scene and charged him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He's being held at McLennan County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
Martinez was taken to Hillcrest Baptist Medical Center for his injury.
