Target store burglarized, high dollar electronics stolen

TEMPLE - At least two suspects broke into the Target store located in the 3500 block of S. General Bruce Drive Tuesday morning.

Around 4:43 a.m., Temple Police responded to a business alarm.  When they arrived, they found the suspects broke the front glass door, and entered the business.

The suspects immediately went to the electronics department where they broke into several display cases and removed various video game systems, electronic items, and accessories, as well as, DVD movies.

The suspects fled the scene prior to the officer's arrival.

Many gaming systems such as Playstations, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS were reported stolen.  The thieves could be trying to sell them on the street or on the Internet. 

Detectives from the TPD General Investigations Unit are reviewing physical evidence gathered at the scene.  The investigation continues, and anyone with information about this offense is asked to contact Temple Police at 254-298-5500.
