WACO - The Waco Police Department arrested a man early Monday morning after he beat his roommates in the head with a hammer.
According to police, Charles Neill, 60, was upset with his two roommates Sunday night after they made a woman he brought home with him leave their house on the 2300-block of Sanger.
Neill allegedly took a hammer and bashed his roommates on the head, injuring both victims enough that they had to be rushed to the emergency room.
One victim has been treated and released from hospital, but police say the other roommate is still in the hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
Neill was arrested at the home at 1:30 a.m. Monday morning and charged with two counts of aggravated assault. According to the McLennan Co. Jail, those charges have been upgraded to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
