Fairfield pastor and former FISD employee face more sex assault charges

FREESTONE COUNTY-A Fairfield preacher and his alleged accomplice are facing more allegations of sexual assault.

Anthony Lynn Thibodeaux and Ladonna Brackens are accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl. On Friday afternoon they were arrested again on another charge of indecency with a child.

Anthony Lynn Thibodeaux is a pastor at Fairfield Missionary Baptist. In the arrest affidavit authorities believe Ladonna Brackens, who is a former Fairfield ISD assistant coach, watched the assault happen in her home.

Thibodeaux was arrested today but got out on a $20,000 bond. Ladonna Brackens was ordered to turn herself in, and she did.

News Channel 25 went to Freestone County jail where Ladonna Brackens sat behind bars. Two hours after turning herself in she bonded out. We asked her to comment on the charges, but she fled from our cameras.

Investigators are not confirming whether or not the charges pertain to the same victim.

Church members told us Thibodeaux still preaches every Sunday at Fairfield Missionary Baptist. Despite the horrific charges, a church member also said Thibodeaux has been a guest preacher at a local Waco church.

Both Thibodeaux and Brackens are out on bond.

News Channel 25 reached out to the attorneys for both of them, but they didn't return our calls.
