WACO - A man is in trouble after leading U.S. Marshals on a foot chase.
Officers attempted to arrest Robert Mondragon in the 1500 block of Monte Vista in Waco Thursday afternoon. That's when Mondragon took off on foot.
They caught up with him when he tried to hop over a fence, but he continued to resist arrest. He tried fighting the officers, who then had to deploy a stun gun on him. Police later found methamphetamine in his pocket.
Mondragon had been wanted for an event that occurred back on June 12 at a location in North Waco. Mondragon had allegedly pulled a gun on a man that he had agreed to meet with and sell speakers to. The victim arrived, but fled when Mondragon pulled the gun and demanded money.
Mondragon chased the victim, firing shots at him and causing him to crash his car in the 3600 block of Bosque. The victim was able to identify Mondragon, which led to Thursday's arrest. He is now facing several charges.
