FREESTONE COUNTY- More disturbing details are coming out of Fairfield, an hour East of Waco--where a preacher is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl.
We first told you the story Friday, and another arrest was made today involving those allegations. Anthony Lynn Thibodeaux was arrested for sexual assault and indecency with a child.
The Freestone County Times is reporting that LaDonna Brackens was arrested today in connection with the assault. Thibodeax was arrested last Friday, and then fired as pastor at Fairfield Missionary Baptist church.
The Freestone County Times is also reporting that LaDonna Brackens was arrested and charged with the same allegations.
The details of how she may have participated in the crime aren't clear, but she turned herself in today. A church member who says Brackens also has ties to this church. She served as a secretary there and worked with the youth.
Her bond was also set at $500,000 and a source says she is expected to make bond. The investigation by the Freestone County Sheriff's office is continuing.
Thibodeaux remains in the Freestone County jail. His bond was originally set at half a million dollars, but it was dropped to $100,000 on Thursday.
A bond reduction hearing for him is scheduled for tomorrow. Several members of the community plan on attending that hearing to show support for the alleged victim, who is 15.
