Man forced into car by armed suspects, rolls out to escape

WACO - A man thankfully only has cuts and bruises after escaping what could have been a life-threatening situation.

At around 10:40 p.m. Monday evening, a 21-year-old man was walking near 27th and Mitchell in Waco when a black Ford Crown Victoria occupied by several males pulled up. The occupants displayed handguns, forced him into the car and demanded his money.

Fearing for his life, he opened the car door and rolled out of the moving car onto the pavement. The car drove on.

He went to Providence Health Center where he was treated for several abrasions and bruises.

The suspects are still at large.
