Man accused of stalking barricades himself in home and refuses to come out

Posted:

WACO - A man is behind bars after refusing to cooperate with police for two hours Tuesday morning.

The incident took place in the 800 block of Garden Drive at around 2:00 a.m.

Police had responded to the home of Moises Zuniga at that location after receiving complaints from Zuniga's ex-wife that he had been harassing her for several days, including coming by her home.

Each time the officers would head to the residence to address the situation, Zuniga would leave before they got there.

Officers went to his home Tuesday morning after receiving word that he had gone by his ex-wife's house three times. When they arrived and attempted to talk the situation out with him, he refused to come out.

Finally after a two hour discussion, he agreed to come out and was charged with Stalking. He was transported to the McLennan County Jail.
