WACO - A man is accused of abandoning two small children in order to take part in a large fight.
Back on April 5, Keith William Foreman was at his sister's apartment located in the 1100 block of N. 6th Street. He was left in charge of watching his sister's two children while she went to the store. One of the children was two and the other was eight months old.
Officers were later called to the apartment complex to deal with a large fist fight that had broken out between 10 and 15 men. While at the apartments, they discovered the children abandoned in the apartment with the front door unlocked.
Police later discovered that Foreman had been involved in the fight.
He was booked into the McLennan County Jail on Wednesday for the abandonment.
