KILLEEN - A con artist who faked having cancer to manipulate people into giving him money will now face the consequences of his actions.
Brian Bonniwell, also known as Brian Fisher will serve two years in prison for incidents that happened in March of last year.
Bonniwell was accused of lying to people in Killeen, telling them he had terminal cancer and needed money to repair his truck.
A charity car show was held in his honor and he ended up collecting over $1,500 in donations before leaving town.
Bonniwell will have to pay a $1,000 fine and pay back the $1,500 he received.
