WACO - Eleven warrants were issued for the arrest of a Waco woman who was calling in prescription refills to a local pharmacy obtaining the narcotic Hydrocodone.
42-year-old Shelly Lanae Davis was arrested after drug enforcement investigators determined she had been calling in prescription refills to the Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Hewitt since November of 2011.
On June 27, Davis was in the Hewitt Wal-Mart attempting to pick up more Hydrocodone when she was recognized by employees. Ms. Davis had an active warrant from Robinson Police for the same type of incident. Officers arrived to take her into custody for the warrant and made a case against her for attempting to obtain the drugs on that date.
Drug enforcement investigators discovered eleven incidents were Davis had obtained the drugs illegally. Warrants were issued and Davis was picked up by Waco Police on Thursday evening.
She was transported and booked into the McLennan County Jail.
