LEON COUNTY - Sheriff's investigators are now looking into a murder-suicide after a man and his wife were found dead Wednesday afternoon.
The sheriff's office says a man shot his wife before turning the gun on himself.
Their son discovered their bodies in the home located in the 1800 block of FM 977 in Marquez at around 4:30 Wednesday afternoon.
Neighbors say the couple was in their late 80's and had medical issues.
"They stayed home a lot but I think his wife was sick and he was staying home taking care of her and I think he found out he was sick so I guess things led that way," said Joe Lee Copeland, one of the couple's neighbors.
Their names have not yet been released.
