TEMPLE - A man has been sentenced to six years in prison after being found with six pounds of marijuana in his car.
45-year-old Robert Steadman had been pulled over for a routine traffic stop back in March. When the officer that pulled him over spoke with him, he could tell that Steadman was acting strangely.
A K-9 unit was called out and picked up on a scent that led police to a large trash bag filled with marijuana that was in his vehicle. The marijuana had a street value of over $6,000.
Steadman was charged with Possession of Marijuana over Five Pounds, Under Fifty Pounds.
