VALLEY MILLS- About a full day after a high-speed chase and a manhunt began, police in Valley Mills arrested the man they tried to serve a warrant to on Friday.
Valley Mills Police tried to serve the warrant for a felony forgery to the man on Friday afternoon, but, officials say, he fled in his red P.T. Cruiser, leading police, sheriff's deputies and state troopers on a high-speed pursuit.
Authorities lost sight of his vehicle more than once but the chase picked up again for the final time on Saturday afternoon. Police finally arrested the man near Avenue B and 10th St. in Valley Mills around 2:00 p.m.
