KILLEEN - Police late Tuesday night released a sketch of a suspect in the abduction and beating of a 14-year-old girl.
The teen was at the intersection of 10th Street and Veterans Memorial Blvd. about 11 a.m. Monday when a two-door black car pulled up along side her and asked if she needed a ride.
When she refused, police say the suspect pulled her into the car and took off. He then beat the girl until she was unconscious and then later pushed her out of the car on FM 3219.
The girl was taken to the hospital for treatment. Her condition has not been released.
Police say the suspect is Hispanic, about 5-10 with a large build and a pot belly. He was driving a black Pontiac Grand Prix or Grand Am.
