Guns, drugs and cash seized from Cameron residence

CAMERON - A search warrant that was executed by multiple law enforcement agencies has led to the arrest of four Cameron residents.

Members of the Cameron Police Department, Milam County Sheriff's Office, Constable's Herbie Vaughan, and the Texas Department of Public Safety, executed a narcotics search warrant on Saturday in the 1000 block of West Main in Cameron.

The investigation was conducted over the past month in response to complaints from the neighborhood in reference to narcotic activity. Complaints included selling narcotics to handicapped individuals.

As a result of the search warrant, a quantity of marijuana was discovered along with several growing marijuana plants, a number of firearms including two assault rifles, drug distribution paraphernalia, a quantity of cash, and a vehicle. The items were seized for investigation of drug trafficking. 

21-year-old Issac Martinez, 23-year-old Monico Martinez and 21-year-old Carlos Monarres were all arrested and charged with Possession of Marijuana. 17-year-old Raul Ramos was issued a citation for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. 

Additional Charges May be Filed Pending Additional Investigation.
