Couple killed in Milam County crash identified

MILAM COUNTY - We now know the name of two people killed in an accident that took place in Milam County Monday morning.

According to DPS, a truck pulled out in front of an 18-wheeler shortly before 8:00 a.m. just east of Cameron at the intersection of FM 485 and Milam County Road 250.

State Troopers say Robert Quick's pick-up drifted and smashed into the back of a semi. The truck then caught fire with Robert and his wife Sue still inside.

The victims were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the semi was taken to the hospital and is in fair condition.
