KILLEEN - Around 2:40 p.m. Sunday, police responded to call about a fatal motorcycle accident. Upon arrival, they found the body of a 21-year-old Fort Hood soldier lying in a field near the Christian House of Prayer in Killeen.
The accident happened at the 2900 block of E. Stan Schlueter Loop.
Officers don't know when the crash happened, but they're estimating the driver flew off his vehicle either late Saturday night, or early Sunday morning.
The victim was driving a blue/purple, 2005 Yamaha motorcycle, when he was ejected from his bike, landing on the south side of the roadway.
The case is still being investigated.
