Young woman stabbed twice during argument

WACO - Officers are looking for the suspect in a stabbing that occurred Thursday morning in Waco.

Police were dispatched to the 1700 block of Dallas Circle at around 11:18 a.m. after receiving a report of a stabbing that had happened at the Trendwood Apartments.

They arrived to find 21-year-old Vanity Scott, who had been stabbed once in the stomach and once in the arm.

Scott had supposedly been involved in an argument with her 23-year-old female cousin over their children when things turned violent.

Scott was taken to Hillcrest for treatment, but thankfully her wounds were not life-threatening.

The suspect had left the scene before officers arrived and has not yet been located.
