Driver involved in fatality crash identified

WACO - We now know the name of the man that was killed Sunday night after striking the rear of an 18-wheeler in Waco.

The driver has been identified as 43-year-old Raunel Francisco Macedo from Davenport Florida.

The accident had occurred at around 10:50 p.m. in the 1900 block of North Jack Kultgen Freeway.

A tractor Trailer rig carrying a load of sheet metal had stopped when Macedo, who was driving a 1998 Chevy Astrovan, apparently did not notice and clipped the back of the trailer. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
