MORGAN MILL - A local man is now in jail for allegedly cheating a business out of thousands of dollars.
32-year-old Robert Dale Clark of Morgan Mill was arrested and charged with Theft after he supposedly created fraudulent invoices so that he could receive checks for delivering cattle to H&B Packing.
The problem was, Clark wasn't actually delivering the cattle.
H&B Packing reported that Clark had provided several invoices indicating that he had delivered cattle to their processing plant and that he received money for doing so, but the plant had never received anything from him.
Clark was able to fraudulently claim $10,344.60 before he was caught.
