WACO - We now know the identity of the body that was found in the Brazos River last week.
The body is that of 56-year-old Ricardo Carbajal Ramon of Waco.
The body was seen by a person who was passing through the area of Lorraine Dr. and University Parks Dr. around 10:30 a.m. The witness reported the body to Waco Police.
Police arrived along with the Waco Fire Department to get the body out of the water that was found roughly 10 yards off the shore of the bank of the Brazos River near that intersection.
The body did not show any obvious signs of foul play, but detectives are still waiting on autopsy results to complete their investigation.
