Taser deployed on man accused of cutting his wife with a knife

WACO - A man was arrested over the weekend, accused of cutting his common law wife with a knife.

Police responded to an emergency call in the 3100 block of Old Marlin after receiving word that 48-year-old Henry Ibarra had cut his wife's hands and arms.

Police arrived and found Ibarra in his yard, who proceeded to provoke the officers with a stick.

After Ibarra was asked several times to drop the stick, police were forced to use a taser in order to subdue him.
