WACO - The Texas Lottery Powerball $325 million jackpot, the largest in Texas Powerball history, had many people in Central Texas rushing to gas stations Saturday to get their chance at millions.

"Big bucks!" said Darline Fisher laughing just after she bought her Powerball ticket. "That sounds great!"

Several gas stations in Texas say that all week people have been buying tickets, hoping to win the jackpot that was announced Saturday night.

"When people are coming to buy tickets usually they buy one or two, but [Saturday] they're buying like 10-15," said Nelson Akber, an attendant at Raceway Gas Station. "It doesn't hurt to try for two dollars. You're going to spend it somehow, someway, so two bucks is no big deal."

The $2.00 price tag on the chance of winning the $325 million even had people who usually do not purchase tickets taking their chances.

"[I usually do not play] because I think I won't win," said Sergio Juarez, a Powerball ticket buyer. "I have played a couple of times, but all the time I lose my money. For two dollars or one dollar that I just spent, it'd be amazing right?"

The odds of winning at least some money in Saturday's Powerball were 1 in 32 tickets. The chance of winning the jackpot was 1 in 175 million tickets.

Even with the low odds people still believed that their ticket would be the big winner.

"I'm going to save it all," said Fisher. "Try my luck. Maybe you're blessings are coming."
