TEMPLE - Police have caught two suspects associated with both credit card fraud and identity theft.
On Tuesday at around 11:00 a.m. police entered a room at the Travel Lodge Motel at 802 North General Bruce Drive in order to serve an outstanding warrant on 31-year-old Ashley Stokes. What they found when they entered, was Stokes and 34-year-old Willie Pierce, along with plenty of evidence suggesting the two were involved in credit card and personal identity scams.
The pair was charged with Fraudulent Possession of Identifying Information and were taken to Bell County Jail.
The case will be reviewed Wednesday with the Bell County District Attorney's Office. Bond will be set thereafter.
