Man dies in car versus big rig wreck

AXTELL - An elderly man is dead after his car was struck by a big rig.

The 84-year old man was apparently making an illegal turn out of his driveway on Highway 31 near Pleasant Hill Road around 9 A.M. Friday.

While he was making the turn, his car was struck by an oncoming tractor trailer.

The driver of the truck suffered minor injuries.

The name of the elderly man that was killed has not been released.
