COPPERAS COVE – A suspect is out on $25,000 bond after being charged with the involuntary manslaughter of a young Copperas Cove woman.

David Tamuno Tonya Pelebo, 26, was arraigned and charged Thursday morning with the crime against Rosanna Andrade, 23.

Copperas Cove Police continue to investigate a shooting which occurred Wednesday night at a residence located at 1208 Dryden Ave.

At around 5:45 p.m., officers responded to an unknown disturbance at the home. Officers arrived and located a female victim inside of the residence with a fatal gunshot wound.

"It's a tragic situation. We hate to have to investigate these type of incidents," said Sgt. Kevin Keller, spokesperson for the Copperas Cove Police Department.

Pelebo and Andrade both shared the same address and were in a relationship.

Andrade was pronounced dead by Coryell County Justice of the Peace Bill Price shortly afterward.

The victim's body was transported to the Southwest Institute of Forensic Science in Dallas for an autopsy.
