My love of dentistry began on the many trips from Gatesville to Waco to see my orthodontist. As a small child, I had very large "buck" teeth, so at age 14 my mother and I were on a mission to correct this problem. Over the next four years of not only metal braces but with the additional around the head gear, my teeth and future career path were transformed. I developed a close relationship with Dr. Ed Taylor who always kept me entertained with his hunting and fishing stories which were of great interest to me. This relationship sealed the deal for me.

When I entered Baylor University, I chose a pre-dental, pre-med career path. After graduating cum laude from Baylor and being accepted by several dental schools across the nation, I chose to go to Baylor Dental in Dallas. Once I started dental school, my interest in all areas of dentistry broadened. While I still had a great interest in orthodontics, I loved learning all aspects of dentistry.

This love of learning has continued throughout my career. I have always wanted to stay on the cutting edge of dentistry. This has led to a journey of continuing education throughout my career at such prestigious institutions as the Pankey Institute in Florida, Dr. Pete Dawson's Institute, Las Vegas Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry, Doctors for Conscience Sedation as well too many others to list. As I continue to grow and learn in dentistry, I realized that it was also important for me to invest in the education and development of my staff to better serve our patients. As a doctor, I feel proud that our entire team is well trained in the latest techniques and whatever I invest in the education of my staff is reflected in the best treatment of our patients.

Today, I still love learning the latest techniques in dentistry, working with our patients and also "hunting and fishing" with my family.

Devin Gneiting, DMD joined the practice and team of Hillcrest Dental Care in June 2012. Dr. Gneiting graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School Dental Medicine. He is an Idaho native and he and his wife, Nicole, have two children Bynlee age 3-years and Callen age 6-mos. With the addition of Dr. Gneiting, we will offer early morning, evening, and weekend appointments to better fit the needs of our patients.

Dr. Gneiting is a strong supporter of continuing education and advocate of dental advancement and training. His goal is to provide exceptional care and friendly service using the latest technology and dental procedures. Another valued benefit that Dr Gneiting brings to our practice and the community is the gift of speaking Spanish fluently.

The Gneiting family is excited to become involved with activities and local events within the Waco and surrounding communities. The Gneiting family enjoys outdoor sporting activities, such as, basketball, mountain biking, and water skiing. Devin also takes pride in his experience as a mentor to youth through volunteering at golf camps and organizing basketball tournaments. He was also involved in Boy Scouts of America as well as being an Eagle Scout.

Kori - Clinic Administrator

I have been in the dental field for 17 years which has allowed me to achieve a gratifying career. I discovered my passion and interest for dentistry as a teenager throughout my orthodontic treatment. I was raised in the small town of Gatesville, TX. My husband, Lloyd, and I have a handsome 10-year old son, Kutter, and "yes he fits his name well"! The three of us take pleasure in being outdoors enjoying our hobbies of fishing, camping, and racing BMX. We recently opened a USA BMX sanctioned track in Oglesby, TX which Lloyd and I operate and manage which certainly keeps us busy along with travel involved for Kutter to participate in state and national level BMX races. One last "tid bit" about myself... I AM A DIE HARD AGGIE, GIG EM'!

Dana - Hygiene Coordinator, Registered Dental Assistant

I have been in the Dental Field since 1990. I came to work for Dr. Thrasher in 1997 and absolutely love it! I have two wonderful boys, Brandon andNathan, who are 17 and 12. They keep me very busy with Robinson Rocketfootball, baseball, and basketball. I was born and raised in Mexia, Tx. and all my family is still there. I love anything outdoors, fishing, camping, swimming, and gardening. I love being in the Dental Field, every day I learn something new.

Katie - Registered Dental Hygienist

I always knew that I wanted to work in healthcare. After studying many different fields, I decided to work in one that creates beautiful smiles! I have been a dental hygienist for Hillcrest Dental Care for 5 years, and I love my job! I can't wait to get to work and help patients get healthy and have the best oral care possible. I've been married for 7 years to my wonderful husband and high school sweet heart, and we have a 1.5 year daughter that spends her days running nonstop!We spend our weekends at the park with our dog and spending time with family. I couldn't ask for anything more!

Nicole - Registered Dental Hygienist

I tried other things, but I was always drawn back to dentistry. Having a career in dental hygiene is rewarding in so many ways. The way I feel at the end of the day when I have made people smile and helped them understand their health is the best benefit. When I'm not working I enjoy spending time with my family which consists of 5 kids, ages 2-12 and my wonderful husband of 3 years.

Katherine "AKA Kat" - Clinical Team Leader & Registered Dental Assistant

I have been working in the dental field for 15 years now. I LOVE MY JOB and would not change it for anything in the world. I have been married for 11 years now to my husband Matt who is also in the dental field. We have 2 beautiful children. Aiden is 6 and loves his daddy. He loves to play soccer, swimming, and hanging out with his buddy that lives next door to us. Poppi is 2 and she is such a joy to be around. She loves her big brother and recently started gymnastics. When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my kids, playing softball, and I love the water.

I have been in the dental field for 6 years. I have been working for Dr. Thrasher for 2 1/2 years and I absolutely love it. I have been dating my boyfriend, Joey, for 2 years now and wouldn't change a thing. Though I don't have children of my own yet, I have two furry four-legged kids (Ziggy & Tom)and an adorable, energetic niece named Caitlyn. I am a very family oriented person so most of my time is spent with family and friends.

I have been in the dental field for a little over a year now and I love it! I have been married for 11 years to my husband Dustin and we have four amazing children; David and Nathan are 15, Bryan is 12 and Kylee is 11. We love sports; basketball, baseball, softball and football; you name it my kids do it. We are always on the go with our kids athletics and wouldn't change a thing about our busy life. I love being with my family and watching my children play. I am their biggest and sometimes loudest fan. When given the chance we just hang out with our friends and just have "chill" time.

I grew up in Miami, FL. My parents are from Texas so we finally made it back! I studied for physical therapy and medical technology. My hobbies are playing the Bass Guitar. My girlfriend, Anna, and I recently started bee keeping on a small scale along with gardening. I have been working with Dr. Thrasher for 7-years now and I have lived in the Waco community since 1999. Go Cowboys & Texas Rangers!

Liz - Front Desk Team Leader and Scheduling Coordinator

I have been with Dr. Thrasher and his team for almost 3 years. I was born and raised here in Waco. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Josh, for 5 years. We have 2 beautiful sons, Zayne and Jacob. Both my husband and I played college sports so it is always a competition in our house. We are an outdoor family who loves hunting, fishing, and baseball. We cannot get enough of Texas Rangers Baseball and those Baylor Bears.

Hi, my name is Pam Roberts. I was born and raised in Waco. I have worked in the dental business office for 15 years and enjoy it very much. I am married and have 3 grown children and 9 grandkids that are my world. We spend most of our time in family situations, such as baseball, softball, soccer, and being in the back yard grilling. I have 2 dogs that are definitely part of the family, a Pomeranian and a lab/boxer mix.
