Cove Paramedic Fired for Allegedly Violating Patient

COPPERAS COVE - New information was released Thursday about story News Channel 25 broke; a paramedic who admitted to groping an 18-year old girl in the back of an ambulance after picking her up from the scene of a car accident.

The City of Copperas Cove has officially terminated the employment of Kasey Calvery. Calvery, a paramedic, was arrested for allegedly violating a female patient in the back of an ambulance on the way to the hospital after a car accident.

Calvery was questioned by police and admitted in writing the woman's story was true.

Because calvery is a public servent, he's being charged with official oppression, which is a Class A misdemeanor.

A criminal investigation through the Copperas Cove Police Department is still ongoing.
