WACO - State Representative Charles "Doc" Anderson has another federal tax lien filed against him. This is the second federal tax lien in two months.

A tax lien for $58,122.40 was filed in the McLennan County Clerk's office December 21, 2009.

A second tax lien for $11,522.01 was filed January 25, 1010.

Anderson told News Channel 25 Thursday, both of  the tax liens are from the same tax bill and that he has worked with the I.R.S. to resolve the situation by sending them a check. When asked why the taxes weren't paid, Anderson replied there was a dispute between him and the I.R.S.

News Channel 25 discovered since 1996 there have been a total of six tax liens filed against Anderson, two of which were in the last two months. The total of all six tax liens was $108,848.32. All but the last two tax liens have been paid and resolved.

The McLennan County Democratic Party is calling for Anderson to resign.
