TEMPLE - Just before 8 o'clock Wenesday night, police responded to a fight outside a bar in Temple. Police believe the incident started as a verbal argument inside the Side Track Bar on Avenue G.
The disagreement spilled out into the street where one man pulled out a knife and slashed the other in the face, hand, and stomach, partially disemboweling him.
The victim was rushed to Scott and White Hospital. Police on the scene said he was in serious condition.
The suspect in the stabbing fled the scene on a bike.
