BRYAN, TX — Attention Bryan residents!
City officials are exploring the idea of offering broadband internet access, there's just one thing missing... your input!
That's right, in order to determine feasibility and cost-effectiveness, the City of Bryan is conducting a survey to help city leaders make informed decisions on behalf of local residents; the survey, starting Jan 4. through Feb 4., 2021, is available in both English and Spanish.
The survey, will ask a variety of questions. Ranging from asking about a customers' experience with broadband in the Bryan area, to their own preference for broadband service.
When responding, locals are encouraged to use their home internet via computers or tablets; that's because, an internet speed test is also included in the survey.
Survey data will be analyzed by a consulting firm, and added onto research to see if offering broadband services is financially feasible.
To encourage participation, the City of Bryan is giving away five $50 Amazon gift cards, to local residents who fill out the residential survey, and five $50 Amazon gift cards to people who fill out the business survey.
