Football star back in jail after injuring a child

BELLMEAD - A La Vega football star who's been in and out of trouble with the law was back in jail Tuesday night.

Officers arrested 17-year-old Christopher Parr Monday for an incident that happened last Wednesday.

Bellmead Police Chief Robert Harold tells News Channel 25 Parr got into a fight with a 14-year-old child. He has now been charged with injury to a child, a third degree felony.

Just last month, he bonded out of jail on a burglary charge. Last November, prosecutors dropped aggravated robbery charges against Parr.
