WACO - Nearly 200 students lead a peaceful "unity" march through the Baylor University campus Friday morning in response to a series of alleged racially motivated incidents last week.
Tensions heightened on campus on election night, when it was reported that a noose was hung from a tree and Obama campaign signs were burned.
Baylor Interim President David Garland said in a letter to Baylor students and faculty Thursday, that students had come forward with information that the noose was in fact a discarded swing and the alleged signs were old computer boxes.
