Money Unaccounted, Leader Resigns

CAMERON-  Hundreds of thousands of taxpayer's dollars cannot be accounted for in Milam County and a leader has stepped-down.

Milam County's indigent health care program has never been reviewed until this year.

Patsy Vrazel was the coordinator for the last two decades and an unpaid consultant recently found she was mismanaging things.

Milam County spends about $400,000 a year on health care for the poor and the county can be reimbursed, if they file reports with the state comptroller's office.  Reports have never been submitted.  Vrazel resigned this week
