TEMPLE - Everything is back to normal at the Dr. Pepper bottling plant at 3510 Parkway Dr. after an ammonia leak late last night.

The Temple Fire Department was called to the plant around 10:30 p.m. after a person who owns a nearby business reported smelling ammonia.

Firefighters say, only a small amount of ammonia leaked out from a broken pipe in the refrigeration system.

They were able to stop it by turning off the gas valves.

Thankfully, no one was hurt and no one had to be evacuated.
