CENTRAL TEXAS- After months of campaigning and millions of dollars spent in negative ads, voters will finally go to the polls on Tuesday. Election officials have been working around the clock to prepare for the big day.
There are 57 polling locations in McLennan County and nearly 50 in Bell County. All locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
Election officials are expecting long lines right when the polling sites open and they want to make sure all voters know where their neighborhood precinct polling sites are.
Kathy Van Wolfe, Elections Administrator for McLennan County, says they are continuing to check equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly on Tuesday.
"Our judges picked up their supplies yesterday and today they're going out setting up their equipment and making sure everything works and getting their polling places ready," she said.
Voters are encouraged to review their selections before casting their ballots.
