WACO - The McLennan Community College Bookstore announced it will begin offering a textbook rental program for the upcoming coming fall semester.
The program will allow students to save an average of 50 percent off the price of new textbooks.
Students will be able pay for rented books with their preferred payment, including financial aid, and pick them up at the store if payment is made online.
Highlighting and note taking are acceptable in the rented copies just as they would with books purchased.
More than 90 percent of students surveyed preferred the rented textbooks method.
