WACO - Eighty percent of jobs created in the next decade will require math and science skills and to help meet that demand, Time Warner Cable launched a $100 million dollar initiative called "Connect A Million Minds".
The project is geared to inspire students to excel in science, technology, engineering and math.
They kicked off the local campaign Wednesday, taking groups from the Rapoport Academy, the YMCA and the Girl Scouts on a tour of the Waco City TV Studios. They also saw the nationally recognized green Chamber of Commerce building.
Time Warner says the five year initiative is critical to maintaining America's competitive edge in innovation.
