Associated Press - August 26, 2009 11:25 AM ET

MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) - A federal prosecutor says five Oklahomans and a Texas pharmacist have pleaded guilty to running a large drug distribution network in southeast Oklahoma and northeast Texas.

U.S. Attorney Sheldon Sperling said Wednesday each of the six pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute and to distributing illegal drugs and illegal prescription drugs.

He says 60-year-old Jeffrey Pierce of Hugo, 39-year-old Martin Young of Wright City, 35-year-old Charles Todd of Millerton and 34-year-old Billy Joe Green and 32-year-old Charles King - both of Idabel - each pleaded guilty during the past week.

And Sperling says 64-year-old pharmacist Jack Henderson of Elgin, Texas, also pleaded guilty to the charges.

The prosecutor says each faces 10 years to life in prison and up to $4 million in fines.
