AUSTIN , Texas (AP) - Livingston's Dustin Harris scored on two long returns to lead the South to a 48-21 victory over the North Tuesday in the Texas High School Coaches Association All-Star Game.
The Texas A&M signee returned a kickoff 99 yards early in the third quarter to give the South a 34-7 lead. Minutes later, he picked up a fumble and returned it 95 yards for a second TD.
A penalty negated an earlier TD by Harris on a punt return.
The South also had big plays from Madisonville's Chris Whaley. The Texas signee rushed for three touchdowns. San Antonio Reagan's Spencer Nealy, a Texas A&M signee, had two sacks.
The South jumped to a 27-0 halftime lead, led by a defense that allowed only 21 first-half yards and one first down.
