It is a nice start to the day across Central Texas with temperatures in the low to mid 70s and winds out of the south 5-10mph. This afternoon expect highs in the low to mid 90s with a slight chance for an isolated shower or storm. Most areas are expected to stay dry but keep those umbrellas handy just in case.
For the rest of the week and into the weekend it will be hot and humid. Highs will be topping out in the mid 90s but with the humidity values rising it will feel like it is closer to 100° in the afternoon. We will likely see this hot and humid pattern continue into next week.
